IETV

IETV is a non-profit organization which depends on grants to realize its events. During my work as an Executive Producer for IETV, I had key functions in all the events realized. From small seminars for 30 guests to International Festivals for 500 attendees, I worked hard to ensure every event was a success. Among the tasks involved in producing an IETV event:

Create an event based on available grants. Many times, public grants were available for a specific subject. Therefore, we would create an event that would satisfy those criteria. Example: Brazilian TV Meetings.

Brazilian TV Meetings were a monthly event, structured as a presentation followed by debate with the audience, from a notorious Brazilian TV personality. Some of the guest speakers were: Roberto Talma, Gloria Maria, Chico Anysio and more. Those names might not sound familiar in the US, but a quick google search of those names can show their celebrity status in Brazil. As the Executive Producer of those series, I was responsible for inviting guest speakers, logistics (car and hotel, catering, security, equipment), budget, schedules, set up and even promotions and advertising. In one occasion, I even had to double as a host!
